About the Killorglin Chamber Alliance
Since its inception, the Killorglin Chamber Alliance has been instrumentally focused on trying to drive economic growth and infrastructural improvements. We actively lobby and try to influence local and national government officials, policymakers, councillors, MEPs, and TDs on crucial town and business issues. We continually shout about how Killorglin is an attractive place to live, work and do business in via our digital output.
The current KCA voluntary committee are the backbone of the organisation and has helped deliver some key strategic initiatives by working collaboratively with Kerry County Council and other key stakeholders. Some of the recent strategic projects and initiatives include:
- Branding our Town… Delivery of killorglin.ie, the official website for Killorglin Town, its social channels, communication strategy and execution
- ‘It’s time to think local again’ initiative and Shop Kerry campaign
- Upper Bridge Street Painting Project
- Pilot Shopfront Enhancement Grant Scheme
- Rural Regeneration Development Process
- Laune Bridge Lighting Project
- Assisting Killorglin Tidy Towns with funding applications
- Digital Heritage Trail
- Rejuvenation of the Killorglin Youth Club
- Christmas in Killorglin

How to get involved?
We are now looking for new committee members to bring balance and a diversity of skills, knowledge and experience. There are many ways to get involved and help shape the future of Killorglin. Whether you want to be a member or volunteer, we welcome your energy and ideas!
To get started, simply complete our form below and our team will be in touch with you shortly.
Then, join us for an in-person onboarding meeting (date TBC) where we will discuss the importance of the alliance, how it functions, and where new members and volunteers can fit in. It’s an excellent opportunity to connect with like-minded community enthusiasts and be part of something truly meaningful.
