The local creative scene is laid-back and fun-loving offering great experiences for locals and tourists… From the Killorglin Pantomime Group, Live music performances, the enchanting galleries showcasing a variety of artistic expressions, such as the mesmerising Pauline Bewick Seven Ages – Kerry Collection to annual cultural events and festivals like K-FEST to Puck Fair.

Killorglin CYMS Hall
The Killorglin CYMS Hall provides a multi-functional Community Hall, catering for all sectors of the community, including two meeting rooms, a 340 seat venue for events with theatre-style seating/large screen and used for markets, large meetings, panto, drama, dancing classes, or whatever the community requires. They have a Snooker Room with 2 full-size snooker tables, citizens info office, weekly bingo and much more. Their aims are for an open door centre, catering for all needs of the local community in a safe environment for all ages. -
St. Patrick's Parade Killorglin
We celebrate our national day here in Killorglin on March 17th annually. The parade starts from The Fishery at 1 pm, makes its way up Main Street and then onto Library Place where there's entertainment for all the family. -
K-FEST
K-FEST, a dynamic arts festival with an emphasis on emerging artists, hosts more than 60 events in addition to a gallery trail, including live music performances by dozens of up-and-coming bands and musicians, as well as spoken word, drama, comedy, short films, street entertainment, and activities for kids and families. The festival takes place over the June Bank Holiday weekend.

Celebrating our heritage, culture, creativity & the arts...
Throughout the year the town also celebrates Heritage Week and Culture Night with several events that showcase our heritage, culture, creativity and the arts.
National Heritage Week is a week-long celebration of heritage happening from August 17th to 24th, 2024. It aims to raise awareness about the importance of heritage and support conservation efforts, bringing together cultural institutions, communities, and enthusiasts.

Culture Night 2024
Wrap up in culture, as venues and public spaces across the island of Ireland open their doors to host a programme of free late-night entertainment, as part of an all-island celebration of arts, heritage and culture. Creative Ireland Kerry, based at the Arts Office at Kerry County Council is a programme which supports and communicates Kerry’s unique creative sector. It resources and values the central role of creativity across all sectors of society and works to promote a greater cultural, social and economic impact in the county.
