The world´s biggest design-focused innovation event is coming to Killorglin

In just 48 hrs, you and a bunch of colleagues, friends ad complete strangers will design a brand new service and present it to the world
The world´s biggest design-focused innovation event is coming to Kerry. In more than 120 cities around the world each year, design thinking enthusiasts join forces on a weekend in March for the Global Service Jam. Over just one special weekend teams develop, and prototype completely new services, products or initiatives inspired by a shared theme. At the end of the Jam, their collection of brand-new insights and prototypes will be published to the world.
This year, Kerry will take part in the Global Service Jam for the first time. Kerry’s Jam – K Jam, will take place in RDI Hub in Killorglin on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st of March.
People who have taken part in Jams include designers, artists, business people, parents, public servants and students. They meet with one goal in mind: to create, prototype, and publish a new service in less than 48 hours.
The K Jam promises to be a fun, creative and dynamic experience which brings together teams of people with all kinds of different skills and talents. Participants will walk away with new tools, an understanding of a design-based approach to problems solving. They will pick up a load of new ideas and work practices, meet new friends, and create a solid service prototype with a team of fellow designers.
K Jam is a community initiative supported by Fexco, RDI Hub and KerrySciTech.
